Dat'l Hook Ya Blackend Beef Lettuce Wraps with Pickled Shallots

This was a fast, easy, and delecious dinner! Each bite feels complete and ends with the tangy quick-pickled shallots. Topped with our black garlic hot sauce just sends it to another level. So lets get started! Feeds 3 about 30 min total prep and cook

1 Roma tomato

2 tbsp plain yogurt

1 tbsp Dat'l Hook Ya black garlic

2 tbsp Dukes Mayo

5 tsp Red Wine Vinegar

1 head Baby lettuce or romaine (which ever is avalaible)

1 tsp Chicken Stock concentrate (we use better than bullion)

1 tbsp Dat'l Hook Ya blackened seasoning

1 large Shallot

1 pound Ground beef (we prefer bison)

1/2 tsp Sugar

1/2 tsp Salt

olive oil

Wash and dry the lettuce. Cut off the end of the lettuce and seperate the leaves. Slice the tomato into thin slices then in half.  And finally thinly slice the shallot

In a microwave safe bowl add the thinley sliced shallot, sugar, salt and red wine vinegar. Microwave 30-45 seconds or until the shallots turn pink

In a bowl add the beef, Dat'l Hook Ya blackened seasoning and the chicken stock concentrate. Mix with your hands until seasoning is evenly mixed.  Bring a medium sized pan to medium heat and add in the beef. Break the meat apart so it crumbles and cook until done. Drain greas and set aside the beef.

In a small bowl add in the yogurt, mayo and Dat'l Hook Ya black garlic sauce and mix together.

Next build your wraps! Lay down the beef, some slices of tomato, the pickeled shallots and drizzle with the sauce. Enjoy!
