When you want that comfort food, do it in style!
12oz Small potatoes
1 tbsp Blackened seasoning
2 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/2 cup Pepper Jack cheese
1 Green pepper
10oz Ground beef
2 Buns of choice
1/2 cup Cheddar chesse
1 yellow Onion
2 tbsp Sour Cream
1/4 cup Beef stock
Olive oil
Dat’l Hook Ya sauce for the top
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Cut potatoes in 1/2 inch wedges. Slice the bell pepper into 1/4inch slices, and thinly slice the onion. In a medium sized bowl, drizzle olive oil on the potatoes, add half of the blackened seasoning, and toss. Place onto a baking sheet. Add green pepper to the bowl and toss in a drizzle of olive oil, place next to potatoes on same baking sheet. Cook for 21min.
Mix sour cream, 1tsp mustard and set aside. Cut your bread in half and toast
Add olive oil to a medium pan on medium heat and add in onion and cook until brown. While the onions are cooking, mix the remainder of blackened seasoning into beef and then place into the pan with onions. Cook and break up meat and cook until meat is done. Add in beef broth and 1 tsp mustard. Cook 1 min. Add in pepper jack and stir until melted.
Place your bread on a baking sheet and add the meat, onion and green peppers. Sprinkle cheddar on bread and meat and place into oven until cheese melts. Remove and add the sour cream mix and a drizzle of Dat’l Hook Ya. Serve with the potatoes and enjoy!
