4 Tsp Dat’l Hook Ya Mild Blackened seasoning
1 Bottle of Dat’l Hook Ya green label
2 Green Peppers chopped
1 Cup chopped onions
1 Cup chopped baby bella mushrooms
1 Cup chopped cauliflower
2 Cups beef broth
15oz Can fire roasted diced tomatoes
15oz Plain can tomato sauce
1 Pint fresh grape tomatoes chopped
1 Pound ground chuck
2 Pounds chuck roast cut into 3/4 inch pieces
2 Tbs olive oil
Mix 1.5tsp of Dat’l Hook Ya mild blackened seasoning into ground chuck. Brown ground chuck in a LARGE pan. Discard the drippings and place ground chuck into a crock pot. In same pan raise pan to high heat. While heating, evenly mix 2.5tsp of Dat’l Hook Ya mild blackened seasoning on chuck chunks. Add 1 tbs olive oil and sear chuck roast until a nice brown sear. You will need this for texture. If there is too much moisture building, drain the drippings into the crock pot and continue to sear. Once there is a beautiful sear on the chuck, place into crock pot. To the same pan on medium heat add 1 tbs olive oil, green peppers, onions, and baby bella mushrooms. Cook until onions change to a slight clear but still crunchy, approximately 3-5 minutes. Add 1 cup of beef broth to the pan and cook 5 min. Transfer to crock pot. Add the remainder ingredients to the crock pot and cook on high for 7 hours. Stir every so often. Add cheese or low carb fixings of your choice.
A truly delicious low carb dish.
