Dat’l Hook Ya White Cheddar Bacon Egg Island

We present to you a White Cheddar Bacon Egg Island. By whisking the egg white, you make this beautiful tasty fluffy cloud with so much flavor. There is almost a nice crisp to the bite.

3 eggs
2 tbsp green onion chopped
1 slice cooked bacon made into a crumble
3 tbsp fine grated sharp Vermont cheddar
1/4 tsp Dat’l Hook Ya Blackened seasoning
1.5 tsp Dat’l Hook Ya sauce

Preheat an oven to 450 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Carefully separate egg whites from the yolk. Harder than it sounds so watch a video and be careful. Place the egg whites in a small bowl and keep the egg yolks separate in the half shell of the egg. Add the blackened seasoning to the egg white. With a mixer, whisk the egg whites until nice and fluffy, about 3 min. Add in chopped green onion, bacon and cheese. Very carefully fold in the ingredients. Over mixing will collapse the egg, it doesn’t need to be a perfect distribution. Just a few folds is plenty. Transfer to the parchment paper to make three islands. Carefully make the center slightly depressed to hold the yolk later. Place into the oven for 3 min. Remove and add 1/2 tsp Dat’l Hook Ya sauce to the center of each and then place the egg yolk on top. Place back into the oven for 3-4 min. You want the egg whites to develop a light brown crust.

Serve and enjoy a special breakfast with your family! It’s so flavorful the photo does not do it justice.
