Dat’l Hook Ya Sausage Pesto FlatBread

We do enjoy a good flatbread as they are not difficult to make and pack a lot of flavors. Get ready for another fun dinner night!

2 Roma tomatoes diced

1 clove Garlic minced

4 tbsp Pesto

2 FlatBreads

10oz Italian sasuage

4 tbsp Cream cheese

1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

1 tbsp Dat’l Hook Ya sauce

1/4 tsp Dat’l Hook Ya Blackened seasoning

1/2 Lemon zested

1/2 tbsp olive oil

1.5 tbsp water

Preheat an oven to 425 degrees. Bring a medium sized pan to medium heat, add in sausage then Dat’l Hook Ya blackened seasoning. Break up the sausage as it browns. Remove from heat when done and brown and set aside. In a small bowl mix the cream cheese, water, garlic, and Dat’l Hook Ya sauce. Microwave for 30secs, remove and mix more until even. In another bowl add in the diced tomatoes and lemon zest. On a baking sheet, place the flatbread and use a light spread on the olive oil onto both sides. Place in the oven for 4 min. Remove the flatbreads from the oven, spread the cream cheese sauce, add the sausage, then tomatoes and dollop on the pesto. Evenly sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese. Set the oven to broil, place in the flatbreads that are still in the baking sheet. Once cheese is browned, remove, cut into 4 and enjoy!
