Dat'l Hook Ya Beef Flautas Supreme

Dat’l Hook Ya Beef Flautas Supreme

Don’t buy frozen food when you can make this dish so quick and easy! Recipe is for 2 scale up as needed

1 Yellow onion

1/4 cup water

5 tbsp Dat’l Hook Ya Sauce

1 Tomato diced

10oz Lean ground beef (you can use bison, turkey, or meat alternative)

6 Flour Tortillas

2 tbsp Crema

1.5 tsp Dat’l Hook Ya Blackened Seasoning

1/2 cup Shredded Mexican cheese blend

Olive oil

1 tsp Lime juice

1 Green onion sliced

Preheat an oven to 425 degrees. Mix the Crema with 2 tbsp Dat’l Hook Ya sauce in a small ziploc bag and place bake into fridge. Thinly slice onion. Take some of the sliced onion and mince, about 2 tbsp. Add diced tomato, onion, and lime juice into a small bowl. Mix and then set aside to be used as a topping later. Bring a medium sized pan to medium heat and drizzle in olive oil. Cook the onions until slightly brown. While the onion is cooking mix the blackened seasoning with the beef. Once onions are done, place in ground beef and cook until done. Break up into small bits as you are cooking. Once meat is cooked drain excess fat. Add in 3 tbsp Dat’l Hook Ya sauce and water. Cook until sauce is thickened. Remove pan from heat. Lightly coat each tortilla with olive oil and place that side down on a cutting board. Fill the tortilla with about 1/4 cup beef filling, sprinkle on cheese and roll tightly. Use a tooth pick to keep the flauta closed. Place the filled flautas on a baking and bake until you see the tortilla getting golden brown around 9-10 min. Remove from oven and top with the tomato onion topping, the green onion. Cut a small piece of the corner of the ziploc bag containing the crema and drizzle onto the flautas.

Another amazing dinner for you to enjoy!
