Dat’l Hook Ya Chicken Bacon Pesto Sliders

Tired of typical sliders? Here is our version of a delicious easy to make appitizer

1 Rotisserie chicken Shredded (use white and dark meat for best flavor)

Dat’l Hook Ya sauce

1 pack King Hawaiian rolls

1 Beefsteak tomato sliced

4 slices Mozzarella cheese

4 slices Provolone cheese

3 tbsp Butter

1/4 tsp Garlic powder

1/8 tsp crushed Red pepper

4 slices ready cooked Bacon

6oz Pesto

grated Parmesan and Romano cheese

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.  In a small bowl add the butter and melt in the microwave. Once melted add in the garlic and crushed red pepper. Set butter aside. Do not separate the King Hawaiian. Cut in half the entire package to make a top and bottom. Place the top aside. Place the bottom half on a greased cookie sheet. Now to layer and do in this order 1) Place the provolone cheese 2) Heat bacon then place the bacon on 3) Place the chicken 4) Drizzle on the Dat’l Hook Ya sauce 5) Spread the pesto evenly 6) Place the sliced tomato 7) Place the mozzarella cheese 8) place the top of the bun. Now press firmly with your hands to get out any air pockets. 9) Baste the top with the butter mix. 10) Sprinkle on parmesan and romano cheese. Place into the oven for 15-20 min. Every oven is different so keep an eye out not to burn the tops of the buns. Remove and pull up to see if the cheese is melted. If not, place back for a few more minutes. A gourmet game day slider!
