Dat’l Hook Ya Chicken and Pepper Sour Dough Sandwich

Tired of the same old sandwiches? We have the solution to your problem!

2 medium size Potatoes cut into 1/2 inch wedges

2 tsp Dat’l Hook Ya blackened seasoning (we prefer the medium heat here)

1 Yellow onion thinly sliced

1 Green pepper thinly sliced

2 tbsp Mayo

2 tbsp Sour cream

2 tbsp Dat’l Hook Ya sauce

2 Rolls of choice (we prefer sour dough)

10oz Chicken breast thinly sliced

1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese

Olive oil

Preheat an oven to 450 degrees. Drizzle olive oil and 3/4tsp of blackened seasoning onto the potatoes. Toss until evenly coated. Place on a baking sheet in the oven for 25 min or until brown. Once cooked set aside as the fries for the dish. Mix the sour cream, mayo, and Dat’l Hook Ya sauce and set aside. Add the onions, green pepper, 1/2 tsp blackened seasoniong and a drizzle of oil into a bowl. Toss until evenly coated. Heat a large pan to medium heat and add the peppers and onions. Cook until the onion is slightly clear but still has a crunch. Set aside. Cut the buns in half and coat with olive oil and place into an oven until toasted. While the bread is toasting, drizzle olive oil and 3/4 tsp of blackened seasoning onto the chicken. Heat a large pan to medium heat and cook the chicken until done. Now build your sandwich with all the ingredients on half the bun and top with the mozzarella cheese. Place back into oven until the cheese is melted, about 1-2 min. Place on the top half of the bun and enjoy an amazing sandwich!
