Dat’l Hook Ya Blackened Shrimp Po’ Boy

There are so many variations to a Po’ Boy. We will share ours and you are almost certain to love it! Not to hard to make, yet super delicious! This will serve four.

1 Fresh French Baguette

1 pound Shrimp

2 tbsp minced pickle

2 tbsp Pickle juice

1/2 cup Mayo

Juice from Half a lemon

1 clove garlic minced

1 tsp ground Mustard

1 tbsp Dat’l Hook Ya sauce

Dat’l Hook Ya blackened seasoning

1/4 head of ice berg lettuce shredded

1/4 head of cabbage shredded

Avocado oil

2 Tomatoes sliced

Coat the shrimp with blackened seasoning and cook until done in a pan with the avocado oil. In a bowl mix the mayo, pickle juice, minced pickle, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dat’l Hook Ya sauce and mustard. Place the sauce over the shredded lettuce/cabbage and mix until evenly coated. Cut the French baguette in half with removing some of the inner bread to reduce the bread to filling ratio. Toast the bread. Once the bread is toasted, layer in the tomato, shrimp then lettuce and enjoy a insanely delicious sandwich.

Tip: Most stores sell pre-shredded lettuce and cabbage and makes this a fast and easy meal
