Dat’l Hook’Ya Blackened Shrimp

Desired quantity of Shrimp layered in Dat’l Hook Ya blackened seasoning

– Place on a skewer. Spray with a cooking spray and coat with blackened seasoning. Ideal is to grill each side about 2 min. Squeeze fresh lemon on shrimp. Cook shrimp last in this dish as they can get cold quickly

Dat’l Hook’Ya Mac and Cheese

¼ cup unsalted butter

3 cups shredded Sharp white cheddar cheese (do not use a mild cheese flavor)

1.5 cup whole milk

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup Dat’l Hook Ya sauce

2.5 cups heavy whipping cream

1 pound pasta of choice

Cook Pasta per instructions and set aside. In a large pot on medium high heat, melt butter. Once the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about one minute. Reduce to medium heat and add heavy cream, milk, and Dat’l Hook Ya Sauce. Begin to whisk and continue until it begins to boil slightly. Reduce to low heat and add sharp white cheddar. Stir cheese until melted. Add cooked pasta and coat evenly. Turn off heat and allow to thicken, about 3 to 5 min. Some people prefer a more thin type of cheese sauce. Add milk and whipping cream 1/4 cup at a time until the desired consistency is achieved. To make it exceptional place onto a baking pan, sprinkle on panko and bake at 450 until panko is slightly browned.

Dat’l Hook’Ya Red Wine Mushroom Sauce

2 Slices chopped bacon

1/3 cup diced Onion

3 cloves Garlic minced

3 cups Bella mushrooms cut into quarters

3/4 cup Red wine

3/4 cup Beef Broth

1/4 cup Dat’l Hook Ya sauce

1/2 tbs Olive Oil

Bring a medium size pot to medium high heat and add olive oil, diced bacon and onion. Cook until onion is slightly clear. Add garlic and cook 1 min. Add in red wine and reduce for 3 min. Next add in the beef broth and Dat’l Hook Ya sauce. Once it is boiling reduce to low heat for 15 min uncovered. Do not over reduce, you want it slightly watery.
