Dat’l Hook Ya Sausage Spaghetti Bolognese

Fancy spaghetti? Oh yeah, you bet! This is such a great twist on another Italian classic

1 Zucchini sliced then cut in half moon shape

2 Tsp Dat’l Hook Ya Blackened

9oz of Italian sausage

6oz Spaghetti

2 Tbsp sour cream

2 Tbsp Dat’l Hook Ya Sauce

15oz can Crushed tomatoes

1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese

Olive oil

Cherry tomatoes

Sprinkle olive oil and 1 tsp blackened seasoning onto sliced zucchini. Place on a baking sheet and broil until they are brown, about 5 minutes. While that is cooking, break up the sausage, add in 1 tsp of blackened seasoning and brown in a pan on medium heat. Make sure to leave it in nice large chunks. Start cooking the pasta per the instructions on the package. Save 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Once the meat is browned, add in the crushed tomatoes with the canned juice. Cook for 7 minutes or until thickened. Add in the sour cream and Dat’l Hook Ya sauce to the meat and tomatoes and stir until evenly mixed. If the sauce is too thick, add pasta water until the proper consistency you prefer. Add in the pasta, zucchini and fresh uncooked cherry tomato slices. Sprinkle on the parmesan cheese and serve. Another fabulous dinner!
