Dat'l Hook Cheeseburger Lettuce Wrap

You are on a low carb diet and are sick of bland food. With this lettuce wrap you'll forget you're trying to watch your calories. The flavors are explosive and you'll be grabbing for more. Recipe is for two, scale up as needed.

1 head Romaine lettuce

1 Roma tomato

2 tbsp Dat'l Hook Ya

2 tsp Dat'l Hook Ya Blackened seasoning

10oz Ground beef (you can use bison, turkey, or meat alternatives)

2 tbsp Mayo

1/4 cup beef stock

1/2 cup shredded Cheese of choice

Fried onions for garnish (omit for lower carbs)

Wash the lettuce and tomato. Dice the tomato and set aside. Cut off the root end of the lettuce and separate the leaves. The the each leaf in half (width wise) so that it will make 2 wraps from one leaf and set aside. It  will look like a cup if you did it correctly. In a small bowl mix the mayo, Dat'l Hook Ya sauce and 1 tsp of Dat'l Hook Ya blackened seasoning. Mix thoroughly and set aside.  Bring a pan to medium heat. While pan is heating, mix in the remaining Dat'l Hook Ya blackened seasoning with ground beef and mix. Brown the meat and drain the drippings. Place back on stove on medium heat and add in the beef stock and cook until moisture is gone. Add in a 1/4 cup of cheese and mix until melted. Now build your cheeseburger wrap and garnish with fried onion, cheese, tomato and drizzle on the sauce!
